What is PRP?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) involves extracting healing growth components your blood and reusing it in targeted areas of your body, to stimulate local stem cells’ natural ability to repair damaged tissue.
We use PRP therapy to help rejuvenate our patients and slow down the aging process in their face, whether this is down to chronological aging, or environmental or sun damage.
How does PRP work?
We collect a small amount of your blood, then spin it in a centrifuge to separate the blood platelets from other cells. The collected and separated platelets are then injected locally into the chosen area to stimulate the healing process.
It is the platelets in your blood which act when they detect an injury in the body causing clotting to stop bleeding and helping to regenerate new tissue in the wounded area.

Skin Pen Precision
What is Skin Pen Precision?
SkinPen is the first FDA-cleared microneedling device. It causes controlled micro-injuries that stimulate your body’s natural wound healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. The result is effective remodeling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact.
How does it work?
There are three phases to the wound-repair process:
Phase I: Inflammation. Piercing the skin triggers your immune system to disinfect the wounds, remove debris, increase blood flow and begin to create new tissue.
Phase II: Proliferation. The wound is rebuilt with new granulation cells, which are part of the extracellular matrix. Additionally, a new network of blood vessels develops.
Phase III: Remodeling. The wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels.
This is often referred to as collagen induction therapy, and is an advanced micro-medical skin-needling procedure that works by promoting natural collagen reproduction without scarring thus creating smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin.
Skinpen can be used to significantly improve the appearance of:

- general scars
What aftercare is required?
Downtime is minimal, usually consisting of a slightly red face, or other treated area, similar to moderate sunburn. It is not uncommon to experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch which will diminish significantly after a few hours and should be completely healed within 24 hours.
Other possible side effects are itching and stinging which normally only last up to 48 hours. There will be barely any evidence three days post treatment.
Results should be visible after six to eight weeks and continue to improve further over time.
3-6 Treatments 4 weeks apart is recommended.
