Dermal Fillers
What are Dermal fillers?
Dermal Fillers are 'gel-like' materials made up of Hyaluronic acid (a natural biodegradable component of our own skin that can be synthesised). Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a hydrophilic glycosaminoglycan which contributes to connective tissue hydration, regulation of cell nutrition/immune cell proliferation (wound repair and regeneration), fibroblast proliferation and hence collagen production providing support to dermal collagen and elastin.
Why choose Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers can restore and re-volumise skin and facial contours to form a more youthful appearance and are longer lasting than wrinkle relaxers. They can also smooth lines and wrinkles, firm key facial structures and define the shape of certain structures e.g. lips. Static lines and volume loss are best treated with dermal fillers. Dermal Fillers are temporary but are a great way to enhance your natural beauty.
Our filler brand of choice is Teosyal. Teosyal is a premium brand which has FDA approval and lots of research behind the brand and product. Unlike many of the cheap alternative products that are circulating around, Teosyal is a trustworthy, premium product. If you wish to have a different brand of filler this can be arranged.

What is Profhilo?
The first of its kind, Profhilo is a revolutionary 'beneath the skin' hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO technology. Profhilo achieves great results through the use of a highly concentrated Hyaluronic Acid (HA). If you're skin needs more volume and elasticity, it's the perfect treatment for you. Profhilo slowly releases HA which causes your skin to create more collagen and elastin. This improves hydration, fine lines and skin tone.
Where does Profhilo work?
The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.
How does Profhilo work?
Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid. The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore, we cannot say that Profhilo is a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.
Sclerotherapy?
What is Sclerotherapy?
If you hide your legs are dread summer dresses then you need to look into Sclerotherapy. It's a non-invasive easy way to get rid of spider or varicose veins, causing them to shrink or disappear. The treatment simply requires an injection. When treated, thread veins tend to start to fade within a few weeks.
How does Sclerotherapy work?
This treatment involves either the injection of a solution into thread veins on the legs (microsclerotherapy) which destroys the endothelium and causes the vessel to fade away. Or, plasma technology is used to remove thread veins on the face.
What aftercare is required?
For the treatment of leg thread veins compression stockings must be worn for 10 days post procedure. Results can be seen 4 weeks after the treatment but may require up to 4 sessions to achieve desired results.
